I love this quote and its something interesting to think about. Firstly, it depends on what you class as 'rich'. Many people are what the world today considers "rich", the likes of The Kardashians, Beyonce and Johnny Depp are rich, money wise but is that all there is to be rich??
I'm not rich like them, that's kind of obvious considering I'm a student living with my parents but maybe in others ways?? What I'm trying to get at is that you might give everything you own away and become poor based on monetary values but then there's your friends and family, they are the treasures of your life. Maybe you don't have any family or friends, then your life, that is a treasure, a gift from God.
Which leads me onto my next point and the thing I really wanted to talk about today which is the Gift of Giving. This is something I've noticed recently, how some certain people can just give without a thought, like its in their nature. Those are people I really admire and aspire to be like. It can be giving a card or a present or simply time to listen and be there for someone. These people are patient, not rushing around, always hurrying but they take life as it comes, a gift in itself and share that gift of life with everyone they meet.
So, this is a short one today but one that's just as important to me as some of the longer posts I've done, if not more so. I want to make it my mission to give more, maybe you'd like to join me?
