Good Day to you all!
Today I figured seeing as its been over 3 months since my first blog post: "Spring Cleaning" it though it appropriate to re-cap my resolutions which I introduced in that post. They were: watch less youtube, eat healthier, be more creative, read my bible more and to keep a sketchbook/journal. Of all of these, I think I've done pretty well with most of them.
I actually have watched way less youtube than I used too, due to a few things. Firstly, with writing a blog, I've explored other blogs and this has taken the time I would have usually spent watching video after video on the black whole that is youtube. Secondly, for while I deleted youtube off of my phone and so with vlogs etc I got behind on what was happening and so I didn't find them interesting anymore. All in all, I have success in this one even if I do splurge occasionally and then regret it when I get a headache.
'Eating healthier' I have actually done (such good english there). I don't really know why but I've really been put off chocolate and other such sweet things recently. I'd rather have a glass of water than juice, I'd rather eat grapes than skittles. Strange I know and I haven't quite figured out what it is yet. Also, I used to eat out of boredom, probably the worst habit anyone can have, and so I have found other ways of entertaining myself when I lapse into a state of utter procrastination.
'Be more creative' is a bit of a vague one to judge however, going by the amount of creativeness I have splurged onto my wall recently, I think that ones ticked off.
'Reading my bible more often' This one is kind of tricky if I'm honest. I am yet to get round to buying an NKJV so there's only so much old english that you can read before being like what I don't understand this. I am slowly progressing on this one but it's not as easy as sitting and reading, I want to get into the habit of having a time set aside every day to relax and take notes on whatever it is that I'm reading.
And lastly, keep a sketchbook/journal. This one I think has been my most successful. I've written/drawn in it most days even if it is just my 'to-do' list for that day. Other days, if I may say so, the pages look really cool filled with writing and colour. Some of my favourite pages I'll put at the bottom of this blog post.
