Heyy!! Woow.. its been a while,
So, news update: I got my exam timetable the other day :S I have 23 exams, the first is RE and the last is Further Maths D: little bit nervous but I think they'll be alright.
So, about 2 weeks till Easter, how many of you have kept your New Year's Resolutions or Things you've given up for lent?? Hmmm.... I didn't give up anything so...yeah.. Alsoo...more news, I should hopefully by uploading more posts with photos as I've found the attatchment to my tripod!! I had lost it for about 1 year and a bit :/ oops, so yeah probably a fashion one/ favourites? Maybe? Idk, we'll see, I make no promises.
More muisc related, for a long time I didn't know what kind of music I was "into" and I've deduced that its probably Dance/ music with a strong fast beat. A fast beat isn't that important but it has to be something I can easily 'bob' or 'nod' to. Yay! Finally! A few songs that have been blasting through my headphones have to be: "Dancin" - Krono Remix, Luvli/Aaron Smith; "All of Me" -Tiesto's Birthday Treatment Mix, John Legend; "Teach Me" - Radio edit, Bakermat and last but not least, "Make me Feel Better" - Alex Adair. Ahhhh they are aamazing!! There are so many more that I love but I won't bore you. My favourites out of all of those are probably 'Teach Me' and 'Make me Feel Better' becuase I'm just in love with the sampling (yeah I know, Music Geek) and how artists take a sample of an old song in a different genre and change it up and make it so amazing!! The old track with the new techniques just go so well!! Here's the link to my playlist on spotify if you're interested, beware it'll grow and change so if you're readin this in like 2 years time, there may be completely different songs on it. http://open.spotify.com/user/abbeyc29/playlist/4E7cl1Qdx0qvUkB9CqFjNB
I think I may possibly do a blog post on the art project I've been doing and how to deal with the stresses of coursework and exams, basically school generally. I really should start a list of blog posts to do, eh oh well :D
In a nut shell, what I do to de-stress is listen to music and write lists so I know exactly what I need to do. I also try not to freak out and to think rationally that if I don't get all the work done, it's probably not the end of the world. I think its also important to talk to someone about it, not get stress and freaking-out-ness all bottled in. Whether its a teacher, parents, sibling or a good friend. If they really care about you, which they probably do, then they'll do all they can to help you. I have a friend who didn't really talk about things she was stressed about much with people but now she does and she is a much more calm and..non-stressed person.
A little Inspiration for any Christians reading this, something I was reminded of this week at our Church's mid-week meeting: 1 Thessalonians 4:17 "So shall we ever be with the Lord" Its not a particularly ground-breaking verse but its comforting when you're going through times when you need a little reassurance. It just reminds us that whatever happens, in the end we will be with him forever. Now we live to spread his work but in a time to come, we'll be in heaven for ever and ever. Its kind of hard to imagine what 'for ever' is like but it sounds good.
Well, thats all for today. I've got a ton of work to do and a busy week ahead so... see you for now :)
