This is something I've had to deal with recently. I've been ill for about a week now but its SO Boring!! Its alright when you're like 10 and your just like woooh time off school. No, its more like oh no I'm gonna have so much to catch up on when I get back to school. Passing the time is also an issue so having become an expert in that field of work, I am sharing some of my findings with you.
1. Plug some music in
Chances are, you'll get sick of you're own thoughts after about 2 hours so make a playlist long enough for you not to get fed up with a certain song and listen on repeat. I find this is my number 1 remedy of keeping me sane.
2. Find something to keep you occupied
Do some over due homework, revision, anything that takes your fancy, NOT eating everything in your fridge. I have an mock exam this week so I split most of my time between that and catching up on art coursework.
3. Get out of the house
This may not be a good idea if you are really ill like puking everywhere...or live in a busy neighbourhood...you might get some questioning looks. But if none of those apply, go for a walk!! *GASP* Exercise, yeah, the 'E' word, you might find you enjoy it!
4. If all else fails, stay inside, grabs some snacks and have a movie marathon
At least that way, you'll be resting, not talking and occupied... if anything, that's probably the one that's best for you....
Hope this helps anyone in such a troublesome circumstance that they are nearly insane.
